About Housa Health

Built from a physician's understanding of independent practice

Housa Health was founded to give independent healthcare professionals greater control over how they practice—without requiring them to build every part of the physical and operational infrastructure themselves.

Our story

Why Housa exists

After working across emergency, family, and integrative medicine, Robert K. Clendenin, MD, FAAFP saw firsthand how much of a clinician's time and energy can be consumed by everything surrounding patient care: finding appropriate space, managing infrastructure, maintaining flexibility, and carrying the overhead of a traditional practice setting.

Housa Health grew from the idea that clinicians should be able to remain independent without having to recreate an entire medical office from the ground up.

Our mission

Helping clinicians keep autonomy while giving them hospital-like infrastructure.

Housa provides furnished clinical workspace, flexible facility access, scheduling infrastructure, and non-clinical practice support designed around the needs of independent healthcare professionals.

What we're building

A scalable healthcare operating network.

Housa is designed to grow beyond a single collection of exam rooms. The vision is a network of professional healthcare workspaces and supporting infrastructure that allows independent clinicians to practice across locations while preserving their own professional identity, patients, and clinical independence.

The Physician Behind Housa Health

Robert K. Clendenin, MD, FAAFP

Founder, Housa Health

Robert K. Clendenin, MD, FAAFP brings a physician's perspective to Housa Health, shaped by years of experience across emergency, family, and integrative medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Clendenin has focused on making high-quality, physician-led care easier to access without lowering the standard. His approach emphasizes clear communication, continuity, practical decision-making, and systems that allow clinicians to focus more fully on patient care.

His experience across multiple areas of medicine also gave him a practical understanding of the day-to-day challenges independent clinicians encounter—from clinical workflows and scheduling to space, overhead, and maintaining professional autonomy.

Housa Health reflects that perspective: creating an environment where clinicians can operate independently while having access to professional infrastructure built specifically around healthcare practice.

The Housa vision

Independent practice should not mean practicing alone.

Housa Health is building the infrastructure around independent clinicians so they can spend less time building an office and more time building their practice.
